White Spruce

Stiff needles are light bluish-green usually 1 inch long. Thrives in full sun and well drained soil. This tree is unique because it can endure heat and drought better than others.

Fraser Fir

Very soft, shiny, bright green foliage is silver on the underside. Likes cool, moist, well-drained soil. It will not do well in heavy, wet soil. It does not require full sun.

Colorado Blue Spruce

Stiff silvery-blue needles are one inch long. A handsome ornamental specimen or used as a dense colourful windbreak. Likes ordinary soil, average moisture and full sun.

White pine

Does well in full sun or partial shade with ordinary soil. Excellent for windbreaks or screening, and as general specimen.

Austrian Pine

Stiff dark needles grow 3 to 6 inches long. Dense pyramidal growth, needs full sun, grows in ordinary to poor soil. Does equality well in limestone or acidic soil.
Can take dry, rocky, windy conditions.

Norway Spruce

This spruce thrives well in average soil conditions, but prefers moisture in the soil to maintain it's deep colour. It is highly valued for its ornamental value and as timer tree. One of the best conifers to plant for shelter and windbreaks, as its branches grow densely into one another.
